The Choir of Silence

A quiet humming, a bird silently sings.
Is it noise, or the choir of silence?

The leaves rustle, a soft wind blows by...
And ever so silently, a raindrop falls and makes a splash.

The quiet sound of a baby, which in its own way sings
Makes perfect rhythm with a kid shrieking in joy.

A silent wail of despair around...
As a homeless man asks for alms in the silence of the sound.

An angry shout by the blowing car horn...
Blends with the din as the moon appears alongside the thunder.

There is laughter, there is a sigh.
A quiet smile, a huge cry.

There is stomping of the feet as the signal turns green.
Screeching car tires express their feeling.

And as if a play in motion, everything moves along.
In the noise, in the din - Silence plays its song.
